MUCC was found in a small Japanese city, about 100 kilometers away from Tokio, in 1997 and since, they have played more than 600 shows in Japan ! After countless mini-albums and 6 full length – all of them have become really popular – MUCC are now back in February with ‘Gokusai' – their 7 th album. A good description of the sound of MUCC would be: „a combination of low-deep sound with an ear-catching melody“. The affiliation of popular Japanese music of the 70s with catchy melodies and western New Metal provided a basis for the convincing sound of MUCC, which is very distinctive and different from all other popular Japanese rockacts! Enjoy the evolutional rock music by the latest generation from Japan ! The musical concept of MUCC was re-defined by leader Miya with every new album. And while the earlier albums were defined by dark and depressing feelings and sounds, the latest albums offered a much harder, and straighter sound and while on ‘Kuchiki no Tou' they buried the dark past of the band, on their album ‘Houyoku' the harsh sound of MUCC is not that concise anymore and ‘6' marked in a certain way a warmly welcomed return to their darker roots.
