D'Espairs Ray : Liquidize - DVD

Having successfully tackled the Japanese market and reaching the top, in October 2004, D'espairsRay set their sights on Europe. With no idea as to how they would be received, they braved their first steps outside of Asia. With no adverts, relying solely on word of mouth, the band sold out 2 shows in Paris and Berlin. In August 2006 the band returned to Europe to play the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany. The band received a hero's welcome, and returned once more later in the year for a full European tour. Rabid fans and uncountable media filled the sold-out venues, transforming D'espairsRay from a buzzword on the underground to bona-fide contenders in the international music scene. With the release of their second DVD (the first one released in Europe), fans will now have the chance to watch the unique live show from this incredibly hard working band from the comfort of (the edge of) their sofas. The DVD contains the final show of D'espairsRays massive 2006 live tour, filmed at Ebisu Liquid Room. As extra bonus, the DVD also contains two clips from a free concert helf at Shibuya Boxx in Tokyo! D'espairsRay are one of the J-Rock scene's elite. Since the band's foundation in Tokyo in 1999, the four seasoned musicians who make up the band, HIZUMI (Vox), KARYU (guitar), ZERO (bass) and TSUKASA (drums) have dazzled audiences the world over with their incredible live performances and eclectic recorded output.
