Lahannya, the voice of industrial club act Soman and resident DJ at London's Slimelight club, is now presenting her own project - a cross-genre fusion of alternative rock, powerpop and gothic metal with hypnotic vocals and a sprinkling of industrial. Produced by Lutz Demmler of Umbra et Imago fame, Lahannya's 12 track debut Shotgun Reality has shed the eclectic kitchen-sink sound of her first EP and comparisons with Throwing Muses and Cranes have given way to the likes of Lacuna Coil, Nine Inch Nails and The Birthday Massacre. On stage Lahannya is joined by Lutz (umbra et imago) on bass, Belle (killing Miranda) on drums and Chris Milden (nfd) on guitar.
