After the amazing debut by ASHBURY HEIGHTS, here's yet another Swedish, female fronted electro duo to be discovered! Their musical style is simple, straight forward catchy electro pop. This debut album sees the pair creating unforgettable melodies, excellent songwriting structures and minimalistic synth tunes, which can be compared to anything from Human League and OMD all the way to current acts such as Ladytron, Goldfrapp, Client or even Wolfsheim. The album has several potential club hits and also has some extra club remixes as bonus tracks. The Timeless Room is set to take the electro market by a storm! OctoLab was signed to Cryonica Music in 2005 and their first every track was featured on two compilations "Cryonica Tanz v.4" and "3 Years Anniversary of Electro Shock Records"! Octolab also contributed an extremely well received cover version of the Depeche Mode track "Fools" for the "Bright Lights, Dark Room" Depeche Mode tribute album. The duo is very open minded to alots of different musicstyles and the mixture becomes OctoLab, but their main influences are Kraftwerk, Old School Electro/Synth, Video Games and Horror movies.
