Mephisto Walz : IIIrd Incarnation - CD
Ref: 20436
"IIIrd Incarnation", a very fitting title, is not only Mephisto Walz's first life signal since the critically acclaimed "Insidious" album, but also the beginning of a whole new era for the band. Bari-Bari, the wizard of flanger guitars, is taking over singing duties alongside the new female lead vocalist Sara Reid. Suprisingly the new songs tend to be more aggressive, less etheral and more to the point, more in your face, more, well yeah, Rock'n'Roll. "IIIrd Incarnation" is the proof for Mephisto Walz having arrived in the second decade of the 21st century. To my mind it's their all around best album since "Terra Regina", but that's just me. Decide for yourself. And in the meantime enjoy dancing to "Alexandria", "Keep Me From Walking" or the ingenius "Damaged Art Hippy". Welcome back, MEPHISTO WALZ. Don't ever leave us waiting for a new masterpiece like "IIIrd Incarnation" for more than seven years again.
