After their last, mostly goth-rock inspired, album “The Tao Of Wis-dom And Misery”, three years of work and again redefining the con-cept lyrically and musically the sixth album of UK/London based band Descendants Of Cain will be released.With this album Mastermind DM Kruger created a concept which is based on stories beeing told about mankind decades after a global catastrophy, which has destroyed most of our planet.The music on "Songs From A Vanishing World" has evolved even more into a kind of "progressive gothic-rock", which still has dark and hard edges, but adds many more elements to the overall sound and lyrics.Contributions on some album songs were done by Wayne Hussey (vocals on “This House”) Ashley Dayour (vocals on “Clockwork Monsters”) and Tommy Dark (guitars on “The Road”)Descendants of Cain's music is a refreshing blend of genres and with a variety of styles that merge into a unique mixture of rock, metal, ambient,and orchestral music. You will recognise them when you hear them-they are truely one of a kind.The release of this album will support the UK based Wildlife Heritage Foundation, which is a charity or-ganization to protect big cat species from extinction.
