LEATHERS is the collaboration between Vancouver visual artist/vocalist, Shannon Hemmett and producer/songwriter, Jason Corbett (ACTORS). Combining luminous guitar textures and icy-cool synths, Hemmett and Corbett channel their shoegaze, post-punk and darkwave influences into a captivating, nocturnal aesthetic. After teasing the world with a few leaked digital-only singles from 2016 to 2019, Hemmett signed a worldwide deal with Toronto-based Artoffact Records and decided to turn LEATHERS in a more serious, active project. With ‘Reckless' LEATHERS now unleashes a first physical release and video. This EP collects her previous digital output and the CD also includes the exclusive track ‘Dangerous', remixed by ACTORS' own Jason Corbett.
