Kalte Nacht in their own words on their eagerly awaited all new album: “U R G E took almost 2 years to come to life. Through many hours in our home studios, exchanging thoughts and feelings and learning from each other. In these 8 tracks, we summed up key internal moments of this deep, unavoidable journey, this dive within, expressing through our music language how they were actually felt to our TOUCH, HEARD with our ears, TASTED, SMELLED, and SEEN through our eyes. It's really a strong desire to co-exist, co-create, reunite, trust, and bring hope closer to us all. It's made of tiny bits of conscious actions each and every day, nurtured and encompassed by love. It's an effort to spit light into our shadowy corners of being and approach with tenderness and honesty what it means to be a human. It's our TRUTH. Many unique people helped to shape it, in their own incredible way, others without even knowing it. We truly thank them all, as it wouldn't be possible without them!” Starting as a solo project back in 2017 from Nikos K. and very soon shaping into a du? with Myrto Stylou on vocals, Kalte Nacht is a project which combines dark wave urban beats with atmospheric soundscapes, expressed through haunting vocals, analog synths and drum machines. Inspired by the Athenian underground, innermost feelings, human, and collective exchanges, they are treding on the thin line between shadow and light, interacting with the listener, through each dynamic live performance. Their debut 8 track self-titled album was released in March 2020 by Geheimnis Records and sold out in few months. It was performed live in Greek and further European music venues and festivals such as Wave Gotik Treffen and many others. In May 2022, Kalte Nacht joined the Cold Transmission Music label and re-released their debut album in CD format, which has become a steady seller for the band and Cold Transmission. In March 2024, the digital single "The Last Breath" was revealed, together with a breathtaking video, as part of this new album "U R G E".
