Genre: Martial, Neofolk, Darkwave Half Moon is the new band by Gianfranco Righetti (drums, percussions, backing vocals) and Josef Serafini (voice, guitar), both known from the bands Dead Inside and Thanatos (the Italian act, not the American one…), active in the scene with various albums since 1993. After 40 years of Deathrock and Gothic rock experience, the two musicians on Half Moon embrace a more Martial / Folk-influenced sound, to build a unique, smooth mix of odes to life and death, beauty and decay. The overall framework for this first album includes a number of special guests, playing trumpet and violin, recalling the more ‘romantic' era of Death in June 's neofolk sound!
