After the debut album „Unreversed“ in 2018 and followed by the EP „Heraldik“ in 2019, RECONVERB now presents his second full-length album „Airport Oxygen Bar“. Whereas his first releases featured intrumental tracks only, Helge Vammen now also adds atmospheric lyrics to most of the new tracks on „Airport Oxygen Bar“ and proves himself as a singer whose voice perfectly fits with his musical arrangements. The album also features a song with Pedro Code of the well known Darkwave project IAMTHESHADOW as well as a remix of Electroclash project S Y Z Y G Y X . The album was written and recorded by Helge Vammen in Horsens, Denmark. Produced, mixed and mastered by Pedro Code in Lissabon, Portugal. RECONVERB is an Aarhus, Denmark, based solo project by Helge Vammen. The tracks combine elements of the post punk legacy as well as influences of the early 80's cold wave and even dark ambient music. Helge Vammen, a former professional athlete, has been exploring music over the years but didn't start recording music until the end of 2017. At the age of 25 he bought his first guitar - a sunburst Fender Jazzmaster that he eventually learned how to play. The interest in offset guitars developed and later he started mixing the surfy sounds of Fender Jazzmasters, Jaguars and a six string bass with dark analog synthesizers creating atmospheric and powerful music.
