Although active in the underground scene since 2014, this French act suddenly surfaced in the Coldwave/Post-Punk scene in 2019, with the official physical debut album [ O N E ], and left a major impact in the scene right from the beginning. 3 years and two albums later, this act must be described without a doubt, as one of the most interesting and best acts on the Icy Cold label! This beautiful double-CD digipak is NOT yet another new album, but contains the digital-only album ‘Last', originally released in November 2019 and much regarded as one of the strongest collection of songs by CLOSED MOUTH, plus a 19 tracks bonus-CD. Indeed CD2 is a collection of previously released ‘digital only' singles of past years. If you go to Discogs, you can see that Closed Mouth released DOZENS of experimental albums, conceptual pieces and more ‘regular' singles. The choosen 19 songs on this CD by this prolific act are more in the ‘traditional' sound, for which Closed Mouth is famous for. Highly recommended , if you did not discover the band through its 3 offical physical albums yet – and for all those, that did not check out the digital singles before!
