This re-release will be very welcome to many Blutengel Fans, as this album [originally released in 2009, 2 years after the previous ‘Labyrinth') was deleted and unavailable in any format for past 4 years. Originally released in a regular 2CD edition, containing the ambitious instrumental work “Behind the Mirror”, a concept album with 6 tracks, as bonus-CD. The limited 3CD-BOX edition of the album also included the full length bonus-Album ‘Redemption', containing 10 more songs from the extremely creative recording sessions for “Schwarzes Eis” that would not fit into the overall concept of the finished album – none of the usual filler tracks or remixes that tend to be used for spiffing up limited editions! This Anniversary Edition not only contains all 10 tracks of the rare bonus-CD ‘Redemption', but also 4 more tracks from the ultra-rare 7” ‘Winter of My Life' (2008) and the two limited EPs ‘Dancing in the Light (Forsaken)' + ‘Dancing in the Light (Solitary)' of the same year.
