San Diego/California-based Cerulean Veins is a post-punk band formed by Dustin Frelich and Amanda Toombs in 2013. The band has released three full-length albums and 17 singles. Their third album „Blue“ was originally released in January 2020 (re-issued in 2021 on CD via Cold Transmission) as first step of their future collaboration. Here now their all new, fourth regular album. “Out of the Blue and into the Black; this is our dance with the black swan. Following up on our 2020 album “Blue,” “Black” is an album about life, death, love, and what it means to be human.” Cerulean (/s?'ru?li?n/) is a dark sky blue. It is derived from the Latin word caeruleus, meaning “dark blue,” which in turn is derived from caerulum, the diminutive of caelum, meaning “sky” or “heaven.” It is said that Cerulean Veins manifests itself under the skin.
