“Acmé” marks the debut album of the German-Swiss duo SIIE, a collection of 10 tracks that seamlessly fuse elements of synthpop, EBM, and techno. This might be the most important signing to the label since ULTRA SUNN, some years ago… With dynamic and electrifying sounds, the album strikes a balance between raw energy and emotional depth—equally at home on a pulsing club dancefloor or an open highway at night. At its core, “Acmé” is an exploration of introspection, delving into the universal pursuit of balance and intensity that defines different moments in our lives. With French lyrics, it captures the fleeting instant when everything aligns—not as something that fades, but as a pulse that continues to echo, shaping what comes next. SIIE is a Swiss-German electro duo that has been combining darkwave, techno and EBM into an unmistakable sound since 2021. With French lyrics, they create a musical world that captures dystopias, emotions and everyday rhythms nd hovers between the familiar and the strange. Their music, characterised by a mystical atmosphere and inspired by the aesthetics of great cinema classics, unfolds together with haunting images to create an intense audiovisual experience that captivates listeners and viewers alike. In 2023, SIIE released their first singles on the US label Manta Recordings, accompanied by remixes by international artists such as Panther Modern and Joyce Muniz. Collaborations with Sian and Damon Jee also led them to Joris Voorn's label Spectrum. The duo has performed live on stages such as the WGT EBM Warm Up in Leipzig, the Kit Kat Club in Berlin and the Logo in Hamburg. A highlight was third place at the Berlin Music Video Awards in the Best Performer category for the video for “Le Sept” with performer Eléa Ha Minh Tay.
